Yes, hurricane Irene was in a foul mood when she came to Rowayton, Connecticut and the rest of the state but we are recovering. The majority of damages were fallen trees, branches and electrical wire lines. The coast did get flooding averaging about 3 to 4 feet here in Rowayton, Ct. as you can see from the pictures below. The good news is the majority of homes made it through and no one got hurt. CL&P are doing a great job putting wires back up and restoring electricity.
