Green Home Tours Saturday October 5th, Fairfield County, Connecticut ~ 2013.

In Fairfield County, Connecticut the Connecticut Green Building Council’s Green Homes Committee along with the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) presents two public open green home tours on Saturday October 5th, 2013.

The Green home tour is open to the public from 10 am to 2 pm and is part of the NESEA 14th annual the Green Buildings Open House Tour (GBOH) with participates from Maine down to Pennsylvania.

The two homes in Fairfield County, Connecticut are:

  • One home is reaching for the Passive House certification and is at 17 Carol Street, Danbury, Ct.
  • The second home is a designed Solar PV home at 141 Great Hill Road, Ridgefield, CT.

The event is in affiliation with the American Solar Energy Society’s National Solar Tour the event is on Saturday October 5th there are hundreds of homes open to the general public.
