Support Wild Life in Crisis – GIVING DAY 3/10/16.
TODAY is GIVING DAY in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Please help support WILD LIFE IN CRISIS a non-profit organization supported wholly on donations, volunteers and interns that rescue injured wild life.
Wild Life in Crisis was established in 1988 and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week year round rescuing injured wild life, rehabilitates them and then releases back to their natural habitat. Each year they care for over 5,000 injured and orphaned wild animals representing over 200 species. Since we are entirely volunteer-run, every penny of your donation directly benefits the animals in our care. Your generosity allows us to purchase food and medical supplies, build and maintain habitats, and care for wild patients.

Dear Friends,
Thank you for your support during the first half of Giving Day which began last night at midnight at: https://www.fcgives.org/#npo/wildlife-in-crisis
The work that we do is very costly and we are operationally based. This means we spend all of our time caring for the wild animals that you bring to us. ALL of our funding goes directly to animal care, not fundraising and salaries. We have an indoor clinic and fifty outdoor enclosures which house over 200 species each year. This is why Giving Day is a special opportunity for us. It is in keeping with our mission to devote ALL funding to alleviate the pain and suffering of wild animals in our overdeveloped and often intolerant world. I have outlined below the "Power Hours" for today that give us another chance to win grants based on your level of support. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity which allow us to continue our important work. Sincerely, -Dara Reid Founder and Director, Wildlife in Crisis
This baby raccoon is one of the thousands of orphaned animals that will come through our doors over the next few months. Please help us help them.
