Northeast Green Buildings Open House Tour, October 5th, 2013.


Hundreds of homes will be previewed by the general public during the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association Green Buildings Open House Tour  (GBOH) with buildings participating from Pennsylvania all the way up to Maine.

This is the 14th year of the GBOH and it is in affiliation with the American Solar Energy Society’s National Solar Tour taking place on Saturday October 5th, 2013.

To date 318 host homes have joined the Green Buildings Open House Tour, to see home near you click here.

The on-line data base hosted by EnergySage provides detailed information on each of the host’s homes including energy saving technology, costs and returns, personal notes from the homeowner and much more. Take advantage of this daylong event and visit sustainable homes near you that will give you a chance to see personally the benefits of green sustainable energy efficient homes.

If you like to be a host and share your experience about the benefits of living green there is still time to host your green building as part of the 2013 GBOH Tour.
