Architectural Digest Home Design Show, NYC, March 17th to 20th, 2011. 
At Pier 94 on the west side of NYC is the annual Architectural Digest Home Design Show this weekend. The show has the latest in home design ideas and products from high end manufactures to custom made furniture and fixtures. With nearly 300 exhibits and the ability to buy on site or to order for future projects, this is a show not to miss with home designs and furnishings that you can pick from a single piece to whole room finishes.
The show is broken into three areas:
1.Dining by Design NY with 45 amazing table installations to view.
2. The newest from manufactures for homes from exotic wood floors to reclaimed wood flooring, high end custom kitchen designs and appliances, green products like permeable driveways and playground, interior decorations from paints to fabrics and all in between.
3. Custom made pieces, master craft's for wood, metal, ceramic, carpets, fixtures, all on exhibit here. You can buy off the floor or have something custom designed and commissioned. A few to mention are:
- Black Creek Designs, LLC by Thomas Throop custom one of kind furniture Designer & Maker in New Canaan, Connecticut.
- Pat Warwick Ceramic Surfaces, original vibrant color of natural themes, studio in Warren, Rhode Island.
- Gary Magakis, Metal Artist of bronze and steel sculptures, lamps, tables, beds and more, out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- Glasslight by Joel Bless wonderful imaginative glass works from St Peters, Pennsylvania.
In conjunction with the Architectural Home show this year at Pier 94 is "The Artist Project" at Pier 92 just next door with exhibits from independent artists with works for sale on exhibit.
